Project & Service Terms

The following terms apply to all design, development, and ongoing service engagements with Pixil Web Studio Inc. These terms are incorporated into every project agreement.

• Estimate Validity: All project estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. After 30 days, a revised estimate may be required.
• Deposit & Payment Schedule: A 40% deposit is required to schedule and commence work. A further 30% is due at the project midway milestone. The remaining 30% balance is due upon project completion, before final delivery of any files, assets, or live-site access.
• Revisions: Each deliverable phase includes two (2) rounds of revisions following the initial presentation. Additional revisions beyond this are billed at $125/hour.
• Assets & Content: Photography, videography, copywriting, and custom asset development are not included in any project estimate unless explicitly stated. These will be provided in a separate estimate. The client is responsible for supplying all necessary content, images, and materials on an agreed schedule.
• Out of Scope: Any requirements outside the agreed scope of work will be estimated and billed separately at $125/hour. No out-of-scope work will begin without written client approval.
• Currency: All costs are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD) before applicable taxes (HST/GST).
• Intellectual Property: Full source code and design files are transferred to the client upon receipt of final payment. Pixil Web Studio Inc. retains the right to showcase completed projects in its portfolio, case studies, and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Post-Launch Support: 30 days of complimentary bug fixes and minor adjustments are included following project launch. Ongoing support and maintenance are available upon request under a separate retainer agreement.

Acceptance of Terms

By visiting our site and/or purchasing a service from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, including any additional terms and conditions referenced herein. These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of the site, including browsers, clients, vendors, and content contributors.

Use of Site

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Service:

• In any way that violates applicable national or international law or regulations
• For the purpose of exploiting, harming, or attempting to harm minors in any way
• To transmit or procure the sending of any advertising or promotional material without our prior written consent, including any “junk mail”, “chain letter”, “spam”, or any other similar solicitation
• To attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website, server, or network

Intellectual Property

The content on this website — including but not limited to text, graphics, images, logos, and software — is owned by Pixil Web Studio Inc. or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and applicable intellectual property laws.

Unless otherwise agreed in a signed project agreement, all custom work produced for a client becomes the client's property only upon receipt of final payment in full. Prior to final payment, all work-in-progress remains the intellectual property of Pixil Web Studio Inc.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary to have access to the Service. You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access the Service through your internet connection are aware of these Terms and comply with them.

You agree to provide accurate and current information when engaging our services, and to promptly notify us of any changes to that information.

Disclaimer

The information presented on this website is made available solely for general information purposes. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of the information, products, services, or related graphics contained on the website.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
